This is to inform all students that the Client Counselling Association (CCA) will be organizing the Intra Client Counselling Competition, 2020. It shall begin with the Association conducting the test rounds on 7th February, 2020.The Competition shall be held for all the students from the 2nd year till the 5th year.
This Client Counseling Competition will help assess the fundamental skills necessary for all successful attorneys, one such skill being the ability to interview, counsel, and support a client through their legal issues. The participants will conduct an initial interview with a person playing the role of the client and then address the client’s legal issues. One of the significant aspects of a lawyer’s profession is to advise the people who seek assistance and in knowing the legal implications of their actions.
After conducting the same, the association shall shortlist the eligible teams and they will be notified with the requisite details.

Important Dates:
Last date for registration: 6th of February 2020 till 11:59 PM.
The Test for the Counsels: 7th February 2020.
Please apply as a 2-member team only (both of them as speakers/counsels).
It is essential for both the team members to be present for the duration of the test, as the members shall take the test, collectively.
The questions shall be based on the following theme of the competition, along with the basic skills of counseling: Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Family Law, Property Law, Company Law, Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology Law.
The Time and Venue of the test shall be provided later on the blog. Kindly keep yourself updated through the blog for the same.
The Participants are expected to be equipped with the necessary stationary and cannot rely on the committee to provide any material otherwise.
